Every innovation starts with a curious mind and a bold question. Behind each scientific discovery, each solved equation, each technological leap, there is a young person who once dared to learn more. This same spirit is deeply rooted in the students of the National High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics “Academician Lyubomir Chakalov” – an institution that has shaped some of Bulgaria’s brightest scientific minds. It’s a place where curiosity turns into discipline, and discipline turns into results, reflected in the school’s long-standing success at international competitions such as the World Mathematics Team Championship.
We are proud to share that BGO Software is supporting the the school’s next major milestone. From 3 to 8 December 2025, three teams will travel to Bangkok to compete in WMTC 2025 – one of the most respected mathematics competitions in the world.
This upcoming participation builds on the school’s strong international track record. The teams have already demonstrated their talent on the world stage with impressive participation in previous editions of WMTC in Seoul and Doha. Last year, they returned home with 5 gold, 12 silver, and 1 bronze medals. These achievements reflect years of dedication from both students and their teachers, who work long beyond the classroom.
